bodacious students of the Month
Each month we will recognize students who have either exemplified one of our school values or have made tremendous growth in a particular subject. Here are the Students of the Month for February. Congratulations to the two of you!
Jaime Carraczo exemplifies the East Way every day he comes to school by being Ready, Responsible, and Respectful towards everyone he interacts with. He is enthusiastic, considerate, helpful, and takes pride in his computer skills. Jaime’s unmatched computer knowledge and abilities are an integral part of our classroom community. He is always willing and able to lend a helping hand to those in need. When it comes to his academic endeavors, Jaime has fortitude and grit. The word “quit” is not in his vocabulary. Jaime is a natural leader and an important part of our classroom community.
Zerlina Mendez typifies the East Way everyday she comes to school by being Ready, Responsible, and Respectful towards teachers and students alike. She is a friendly, self-reliant young lady, full of conviction towards her learning. Zerlina works hard to complete every assignment, every project, every assessment to the best of her ability. She is a “hard-charger” who never quits trying. Zerlina is a good friend to everyone she meets and an integral part of class Bodacious.

bodacious student of the semester: responsible/Respectful
Each semester East Elementary recognizes a student who exemplifies one of our core values of: Responsible, Respectful, or Ready. Last semester recognized a student who was the epitome of the core value "Responsible". Class Bodacious' student of the semester was Grant Richins. This month recognized a student who exemplifies the qualities of being "Respectful" and that student was Ayres Flying. Congratulations gentlemen on your accomplishments.
february 2020: STELLAR SPELLERS!
Students who score 100% on their weekly spelling test will find themselves a recipient of the "Stellar Speller" award. Here are the Stellar Spellers for the week of March 2-6:
